TikTok, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram are ready to face the strict provisions of the Digital Services Act (DSA) pushing them to reveal the number of Europeans using their services and to adhere to sweeping requirements starting by the summer of 2023 such as removing illegal content, combating disinformation and enhance minors protection. In case of non-compliance, the Act allows the European Commission to fine companies up to 6 percent of their annual global revenue.
