Bio

Javiera Sepúlveda is a Partner at Bitlaw, bringing over 13 years of experience in technology law and privacy. A lawyer from the Catholic University of Chile (2011) and holder of an LL.M. in Commercial Law with a specialization in IT Law from the University of Melbourne (2018), she provides cutting-edge legal counsel in technology contracting, software protection, data privacy, electronic signatures, e-commerce, and intellectual property.

Before joining Bitlaw, Javiera spent a decade as a senior associate in the Technology and Data Protection Group at Carey y Cía. Her multidisciplinary approach is supported by continuous academic development, including specialized courses in intangible assets, cryptocurrency regulation, and digital services. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and FinteChile.

Javiera is also an active legal thought leader, contributing to key publications such as Privacy and Protection of Personal Data: Selected and Commented Jurisprudence (2021) and authoring the article Convergence of Data Protection and Free Competition in the Digital Economy (2023).
