Jorge Allende

Bio

Jorge Allende founding partner of Allende & Garcia Abogados, one of the leading IP, Competition and Privacy Firms in the Peruvian market. He is an expert lawyer in intellectual property, competition and data privacy matters.

He is a lawyer from Universidad de Lima and earns a Masters of Law (LL.M.) degree from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, USA.

He is member of Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), where he founded and was the first President of the Data Privacy Committee; of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) where he is Chair of the Knowledgment Chapter for Peru; International Trademark Association (INTA) and European Community Trademark Association (ECTA) were he is a member of the Data Privacy Committee.

He is an Adjunct Professor for graduate and post graduate courses of intellectual property, competition and privacy matters in Peru.
