Kyuho Hwang is a Ph.D. educated engineer who has been advising and litigating with technology-based companies with his research and development experience in the field of technology. In particular, he has many years of experience handling issues of intellectual property, trade secrets, and industrial technology matters.
All of which require a deep understanding of technology and its continual evolution. Mr. Hwang also has experience in resolving disputes involving defects and deficiencies in equipment, buildings, automobiles, and aircraft, as well as with accidents such as fires, explosions, and hacking. In each case, technology is a key issue. Mr. Hwang also has the unique experience of moving from a large law firm to a startup, where he headed the management of the IPO process.
Mr. Hwang’s experience in advising and working with companies from early-stage startups to KOSDAQ-listed companies has allowed him to competently advise such companies on a wide range of legal issues that arise during this process. In addition, Mr. Hwang advises startups on building the technology portfolio needed to grow, as well as the process and direction of trade secret protection and the special listing of technology.
