Watch the PrivacyRules 3 days event focusing on privacy and cybersecurity in e-commerce: 3-day, 3 continents, 3 languages. Each day hosted leading speakers from multiple countries and diverse backgrounds, from tech journalists to constitutional judges passing through cybersecurity experts.
We have been speaking about e-commerce at 360 degrees, debating how this sector should care about privacy as a fundamental right, how privacy is critical to secure investments and for start-ups to succeed, and how to transfer e-commerce related data in and out of China.
On 1 June, PrivacyRules three-day global event takes off with a Latin America e-conference at 8:30 – 11:30 am COT (GMT-5) (*in Spanish and Portuguese).
We will discuss digital society, privacy and e-commerce in three different sessions:
(a) privacy as a fundamental right at the centre of entrepreneurial practices: why it’s so convenient;
(b) bitter-sweet relationship, how will e-commerce change after the "state of emergency". Keep the consumer close but privacy closer; and,
(c) side effects of a global pandemic: drastic increase in information security incidents.
The speakers are leading experts from the most representative categories at LatAm level: judicial officials, DPAs & DPOs, community leaders and opinion makers, specialised journalists, privacy lawyers, cybersecurity experts, academics, and e-commerce businessmen.
